I’m Sovanndevid Nong, a final-year Bachelor of Information Technology student at Charles Darwin University with hands-on experience in desktop support-style troubleshooting, networking, software development, database systems, and project-based technical work.
This portfolio is a focused selection of projects that reflect how I approach systems, interfaces, troubleshooting, user support, and practical technical delivery.
Selected Work
Built to present real capability across support, systems, and user-facing digital work.
Work
Each project is presented as a small case study with context, technical work, and outcome.
Context
Users often rely on disconnected tools for tracking workouts, nutrition, exercise form, and progress feedback.
What I built
A Flutter-based mobile application integrating workout tracking, nutrition logging, AI coach concepts, and pose-validation-based form analysis.
Technical focus
Frontend UI, API integration, Firebase-backed data handling, feature flows, and product-style interface consistency.
Outcome
A richer mobile product experience that demonstrates multi-screen UI design, user flow thinking, and feature depth across health and training workflows.
Designed and implemented a simulated enterprise network using routers, switches, IPv4/IPv6 addressing, subnetting, and static routing to support communication across multiple departments.
This strengthened my understanding of network structure, connectivity troubleshooting, and how infrastructure supports day-to-day operations.
Developed a Django web application to record and manage plant surveillance data with CRUD functionality, database models, and reporting-focused workflows.
The project improved my ability to build structured backend logic, handle data cleanly, and support practical information workflows.
Developed a responsive website for student study planning with structured navigation, interactive components, and cleaner page layout using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
This project sharpened my frontend fundamentals and reinforced the importance of usable, well-organised interfaces.
About
Through academic and personal projects, I’ve built experience across mobile apps, web development, APIs, networking, desktop support-style troubleshooting, end-user support thinking, and database systems.
My work background in retail and hospitality has also strengthened communication, reliability, adaptability, and the ability to stay calm under pressure.
Skills
Desktop support fundamentals, end-user assistance, troubleshooting, Windows and Linux environments, technical assistance, system setup concepts
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, responsive layouts, interaction design, visual hierarchy, modern user-facing interfaces
TCP/IP networking, IP addressing, IPv4 / IPv6, static routing, infrastructure design, practical network understanding

Experience
Supported store operations across multiple departments including receiving, stock handling, inventory intake, dairy section support, customer service, and maintaining quality standards in a high-volume environment.
Assisted customers with orders and service in a fast-paced environment while maintaining hygiene standards and team coordination.
Performed vehicle detailing work, maintained tools and equipment, and ensured quality standards before customer handover.
Positioning
Open to graduate, junior, desktop support, and general technical roles where problem-solving and reliable delivery matter.
